If you have completed your MBA degree, then yes you will be shortlisted for company placements. However, your gap years will prove to be a big disadvantage as younger candidates with better percentage will be placed ahead of you. So, you might not have a good chance at job or placements but don't be discouraged, take whatever job you are being offered and apply again for high end companies, the more work experience you have, the better the chance of getting placed. Hello Shubradeep, Well, It depends on the companies itself. Some of the companies don't allow the students with a gap year to sit in the placement round while some of the companies don't have such conditions. You need to check with the particular companies about their requirements for placements.
