Hey!There
Yes,it can create trouble in getting admission in IITs or NITs.Candidate must have minimum 7 CGPA for getting admission in IITs or 6.5 CGPA for NITs.Even if you get good score in GATE,then it is low Chaance of getting seat in IITs.Also Every IITs has their own elligibility criteria for admission.You can check low Rank IITs..
