As you say,  you are completed bsc biotechnology and pursuing msv microbiology..

Their is no need of gate exam.. And you are not eligible for gate by doing bsc biotechnology..

For mSC , CSIR NET Exam Ranks No. 1 in the list of 10 Competitive Entrance Exam for Msc microbiology students

Gate stands for gratitude appetitute test in engineering..

In this test , If  you have Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology or Architecture/Design or its equivalent only  then are eligible for GATE  EXAM..
