Dear student.
Greetings.
Yes, a student with MSc in physics can pursue for M.tech in environmental engineering.
Thank you. All the best.
Hi Prajju,
Yes, you can pursue M.tech. in environmental engineering which is a sub-branch of civil engineering only. To get selected in some best colleges of country like IIT-Delhi, IIT-Bombay, IIT-Madras, IISC-Bangalore etc., you need to clear and score well in GATE examination.
Further, decision of choosing M.tech. in environmental engineering is good for you or not depends upon your objectives. By taking this decision you will be doing a shift from science to engineering. This decision would be either based upon your interest in engineering than basic science (physics in your case) or to have a job security. So, I feel you should decide your objectives.
Please feel free to contact in future if you have any future queries.
All the best!!
