Hello Rahul,

The basic criterion to become an IAS officer is to do graduation in any discipline from a UGC regonised university.I would suggest you to go for subjects like Political science, history and economics as maximum number of students opt for these subjects as an optional paper and many questions are also included from these categories in the General Studies paper. You can also pursue civil services coaching from a high quality institute with excellent ratings and reviews. Some of the best civil services coaching centres in India are-

1. Sriram's

2.ALS

3. Vajiram and Ravi

4. Chanakya

5. Rao's study circle

Hope that answers your query and good luck!
