Inspite of studying 1st year of B.Tech, as you discontinued it, your highest qualification will remain 12th. So you already have completed your 12th, your code will be 02. Code 02 says: The Higher/Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher/Senior Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of such study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology (which shall include practical tests in these subjects) and Mathematics or any other elective subject with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training after introduction of the 10+2+3 educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on Education.

Hello,

See, the scenario is that for you the dillema will be to choose between two codes.
Code 02 can be used by candidate appearing for NEET examination after a gap of a single year of school passing. So, if also choose this code.

And the other one is Code 05 for the students that have already enrolled in three years degree course program, then planning to leave the course for NEET examination. But according to me this scenario doesn't fits for you because B.tech is is four year program.

So, i would suggest you to go for Code 2 but make sure you get you all original certificate and documents of call 12th from your college.

I hope this helps.

Hello there,

Since you left the college in between and have invested two years already in preparation of neet this shows that you are quite fascinated about medical line. Therefore you should prefer your preparation and should give a few more shots to the entrance examinations of medical line.
However final decision should be yours.
Hope this helps
