So, Diploma engg students cannot apply for GUJCET

Dear student

Candidates who wish to appear inGUJCET 2018for admission to around 68,300 B.Tech seats in Gujarat must read the eligibility criteria before applying for the same. GUJCET eligibility criteria 2018 is given below:

Nationality:Candidate must be a citizen of India.

Age Limit:Candidateswho are applying forGUJCET 2018must be minimum 17 years of age.

Domicile:GUJCET 2018 eligibility criteria for candidates belonging to Gujarat or outside Gujarat is as given below

Candidate should be a bonafide resident of GujaratCandidates residing in other state but are a bonafide resident of Gujarat are eligible to apply for GUJCET 2018Candidates whose parents are of Gujarat origin and are serving out of the state in the service of Central Government or other State Government, Armed Forces, Boards or Cooperations owned or controlled by the Central or State or any nationalised bank are eligible to apply for GUJCET 2018

Academic qualification:Candidates should have passed/ appeared in 10+2 level examination or any other equivalent examinationfrom the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar/ CBSE, Delhi/ CISCE, New Delhi/ NIOS/ International School Board.

As per educational qualification:

The candidates should possess their 10th and 12th mark sheets from a recognized school having Higher Secondary Science Stream (10 + 2Pattern) situated in the State of Gujarat.  

Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Certificate Examination from Science Stream conducted by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar or Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi or Council for the Indian School Certificate, are eligible to appear for GUJCET 2018  exam.

The candidates who have filled in application form for appearing and eligible for appearing in the Examination of Higher Secondary Science Stream (10 + 2 Pattern) /candidates going to appear are also eligible to appear for the GUJCET 2018  exam.
