CSIR NET exam is one of the best competitive exam for MSc microbiology students. Qualifying the exam will grant you Junior Research Fellowship(JRF) and / or Lectureship(LS)d upon the marks you score.

For Lectureship there is no upper age limit. For JRF the age limit is 28 for general category 33 for SC/ ST/PH/Female and 31 for OBC -NCL. MSc degree students are allowed to give this exam.
