I have done my all education till 12th std in Maharashtra am I eligible appear for KCET ? If not then what are the other ways through which I can take admission in engineering college in Banglore?

Hello Aspirant,

The eligibility criteria for applying for KCET is as follows

  • Candidate must be a citizen of India
  • Candidate must have completed their 10+2 level education/PUC or awaiting the result from karnataka state open university
  • Physics and mathematics should be a mandatory subject in your 10+2 level education with chemistry /biology /biotechnology /computer science /electronics as optional subjects with English as mode of study

Since you are did not do your 12th from karnataka open university you are not eligible. However if you wish to pursue your Bachelors degree in the field of engineering you can simply go for JEE which is a joint entrance examination that is nation wide. Through JEE mains/advanced you can even get into IIT Bangalore, which is the best engineering college in Bangalore
