I have done my BSc (general) and I will do Msc in zoology. I have read that to becone an assistant professor one should have bachelor's and Master's degree in same subject. Will I be able to become an assistant professor in future?

Hello aspirant

You can become assistant professor in the subject in which you have done master's degree. ( With Bachelor's degree in same or different subject) You will have to qualify NET .

Some universities accept assistant professor with master's and Bachelor degree in same subject as they want both strong. But not all.
