i have done my scholling from rajasthan with 90% in commerce, i had applied for Vivekanand college which required the same percentage for B.com but my application has been rejected with reason "doesn't meet the cut off" what should i do now.

Hey,

It is not very clear which Vivekananda College you are referring to here, as there are many Vivekananda Colleges in different states. However, in your case it might have happened because a lot of applicants must have applied for the course with higher percentages than yours. And the limited number of seats reduces the chances of many applicants.

Colleges do set up a minimum range of marks for applying for the course, but they surely give preference to the ones scoring higher marks! You can call up the admission cell to clarify and ask if they will publish any other list of cut off.

You can also apply for other colleges as you have scored quite good.
