No you don't have to appear for your practical exam again. Your previous practical marks will be carried forward and accounted for if you have passed in practical.

For failure/improvement/compartment category students practical marks of the subjects obtained in the previous year main examination will be carried over till the third chance compartmental examination. But incase you failed in your practical you need to appear for both theory and practical.
