there is  no such problems.you can definately give your exams.it is very important to register for the exam.the registration starts from 7th feb to 7th march.

Yes you can appear in jee April as appearing in JEE APRIL is independent of JEE in January all you need to do is to register again with the same user information provided to you in January and as far as results are concerned best of two of January and April is taken and in your case since you missed the exam in January your April attempt only will be considered.
