Dear student,

As you have secured 1856 obc category rank in jee paper 2 then it is quite impossible for you to get b.arch course in any top NITs.
Now as your preferred colleges are NIT Trichy and NIT Calicut then there is no chance that you can get b.arch course in josaa all rounds counselling, even if you belong to their home state quota.
But as per seeing the last year cut off trends there is a chance that you can get b.arch course in these two NITs during Csab counselling.

Because last year for csab round 1 counselling the cut of closing ranks for architecture courses for obc candidates was :-

NIT TRICHY :-
Home state candidates - 3691
Other state candidates - 1947

NIT CALICUT :-
Home state candidates - 2506
Other state candidates - 2868

So, as you can see in csab round you have high chances of getting architecture branch in these two nits. But if you are from other state then there is no sure chances that you will get seat in nit trichy.
Also with this much OBC category rank you can easily get NIT Patna even if you belong from other state in josaa main round counseling.
