Hi,

Thanks for reaching out!

With a rank of 2600 in PGCET and SC category, you have a fair chance to get a seat in M. Pharmacy in Karnataka. The PGCET exam has special reservation for SC candidates, so the cutoff for SC is usually lower than the general category.

Every year, KEA releases the counselling schedule and college-wise cutoff ranks. You should register for PGCET counselling and fill in your preferences for colleges that offer M. Pharma. Your chances also depend on the branch you choose (like Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, etc.). Some branches have higher competition than others. Start with top colleges in your choice list, and also keep backup options ready in case your first preference is not available.

Keep checking the KEA portal for counselling dates, and make sure to upload your documents like SC certificate, PGCET rank card, and degree marksheet on time.

Best of luck!

With a PGCET rank of 2,600 and SC category, you have a very high chance of getting an M.Pharm seat in government or top private colleges. You can aim for government colleges affiliated with RGUHS and reputed private colleges like Karnataka College of Pharmacy, Acharya & BM Reddy, and M.S. Ramaiah.

Hello Aspirant,

With a PGCET rank of 2600 and being in the SC category, you have a good chance for M.Pharmacy admission in several colleges in Karnataka.

Many private colleges and some university departments will likely have cutoffs within this range for SC candidates. Some colleges where you might find a seat include:

  • KLE Society's College of Pharmacy (Hubli, Belagavi)

  • Acharya & B.M. Reddy College of Pharmacy (Bangalore)

  • Dayananda Sagar University (Bangalore)

  • NITTE College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (Bangalore)

  • PES University (Bangalore)

  • Government College of Pharmacy (Bangalore)

During counselling, prioritize colleges and specializations based on your interest. Always check the official KEA PGCET website for exact cutoffs after each round.
