On seeing the previous year seat cut off of NIMCET  there is very less possibllity of getting a secured seat. Though sometimes open category seats may go vaccant in last round so if you have patience then you may wait till last round.

                  I am here to answer your query. To be honest, Based on previous year cutoffs 4057 rank is very very less to get a seat in NIT's through counseling. Because there are 11 NIT's participating in NIMCET counseling offering only 805 seats in total. Among these 805 there will be some seats reserved for OBC/SC/ST. So being a general category student it is very hard to get a seat with this rank. But if you still want to give a try and test your luck then you can go for counseling there is no loss in that except 2200/- counseling fee and a little time of yours so there is nothing wrong to try.

                But if you don't want to go for a counseling it's all ok there are private colleges accepting NIMCET  you could just try for them.
            Don't be disappointed every will find best for them in one or other way. So go and search best college that suits for you.
