I have got 49.8 percentile (7-8lakh rank) in jee mains, general category.. What college options do I have?

With 49.8 percentile (approx. 7–8 lakh rank) in JEE Mains under the General category, getting into NITs, IIITs, or GFTIs through JoSAA is unlikely. But don’t worry — you still have good options:

  • Apply through your state counselling (like TS EAMCET or others).

  • Look into private universities like LPU, SRM, Amity, Chandigarh University, or Jain University.

  • Some colleges offer direct admission or management quota seats based on Class 12 scores.

Stay confident and aim for colleges that offer strong placement and faculty support!
