regulated, operated and sponsored by the State Government of West Bengal.As per the 2018 cut-off, you can get Electrical Engineering in Round 4. But youcan also try for other branches like Computer Science, mechanical, InformationTechnology. Since you have decided to take Electrical so I will not force you to take different branch. Hopefully, may be the cut-off may get down and you can get in Round 3 itself. You can also try for some other colleges as a backupao you don't need to worry if by chance you are not able to get a seat in KGECCollege.

Congratulations on your rank. However, you have not mentioned your category and whether you fall under the home state quota Or all india quota.. So, the result is in accordance to home state quota under general merit rank. Well, your rank might not be sufficient to seek admissions in any ug course at Government engineering college, Kalyani including electrical engineering in the general merit. However, there are certain other colleges you can apply in, based on this rank.
