Congratulations  for getting 71 percentile in JEE-MAINS,but the competiton is too high, if want to enter in good NIT ,it may ask 96+ percentile in OPEN catagory ,but it is less for SC/ST candidate. By getting 71 percentile,you may get seat in   NIT colleges like NIT JAIPUR, ANDHRAPRADESH AND ALL, but if you're  state have good NIT ,then you will be having a benefit of home state quota also. If take branches like chemical ,civil or may be mechanical engineering there may chances to get into good NIT, but you will get good IIIT like sri city or kanchipuram, don't  worry you will be in good institution.  All the best...!!!
