No, they are no big issue to get laminated your certificate. actually, I'd the same not with the single document I do all of mine and make a copy of them. I know it looks silly but that who I am. So don't worry.

You are generally required to submit the school leaving certificate during the admission, so, it may not create any problem whilst getting an admission in DU but you may contact the college authorities to know for sure to avoid confusions in later stages of the admission process.
