Hello Haritabh,
Merit for admission in DU is made up of best 4 subjects marks. So there is no problem with music subject as it will not affect your admission cause aggregate percentage in best 4 subjects are considered. However, For few graduation degree demand for few particular subjects to take admission. Suppose if you go for B.Com Hons Economic then few college can demand this subject as your one of 10+2 subjects to get admission in their college. Otherwise you are not eligible for that course.
Few college only demand for aggregate percentage in top 4 subjects.
Good Luck.
