you should give both jee and improvement for boards in 2018.

Please go to your school from where you gave your 12board exam...your school tell all the procedure for applying for improvement

You can write jee main 2018 exam but your result will become invalid because you haven't score 75% in 12th board...if you wish to give jee main exam first you have to give improvement exam of CBSE 12th board...if you get more than 75% then your result will valid of jee main 2018..All the best ..hope my answer help you

bhai jis school se 12th board ka exam diye ho...apne school me jaao ..woh log sab bata dega..tumko improvement exam ke liye kaise apply Karna hai
