My board percentage this year (2018) are 72%. I am not qualified in JEE main. I am thinking of dropping a year and study for board and JEE.

I really appreciate your determination. But here is the problem, as you have to have at least 75%(65% for SC, ST) in your board exams otherwise you should be in top 20 percentile of your board.
If you want to get into IIT, you should take a drop out but first you should go through this article-
