If you are appearing for improvement in all the subjects then you will be considered as reappearing candidate and will have to fill appearing. In that case, your Class 12th passing year will be 2019.
And if you are appearing for improvement exam in only one or two subjects then your Class 12th passing year (2018) will be considered and you will have to fill pass.
