i have scored 161 marks in bhu m.sc forensic science and my rank is general-167, ews-25 and open(male)-58. what are the chances of me getting selected?

Hi Rajul,

I think you have chances of getting admission, though it depends on factors like number of applicants.

If you consider the last year trends of cutoff in BHU,

Qualifying Marks Trend

Year Category Cutoff
2019 General 126
SC 90
ST 90



But for M.Sc. Foreign Science you need a very high score.

However you have scored 161 marks which is not sufficient if you belonged to general category.

Your EWS rank is 25 which will help you.

Candidates shortlisted on the basis of scores obtained in BHU PET 2020 and their meeting the cut-offs will be sent call letters for counselling
