The cutoff for TANCET for BC category is 35.25.  Yes you can apply for government college But chances are low. The Board i.e. University of department of Anna University had kept BC category cutoff marks to be 58.33. You have nice score to get a good college. Here are some names you can consider for joining:-

Cutoff for open or general category:-

• Velammal Engineering College, Chennai-31.333
  
• R M K Engineering College, Gummidipoondi, Thiruvallur-31.6(BC Cateogory)
• PSG Institute of Management, Coimbatore-35 for open category
  

these are the good colleges. You can choose one as per your interest.

Commencement of Counselling will start from 8July,2019. Better check the official website to get the accurate details.There you can get accurate details.
