There are quite less chances for you to get a seat in government medical college (if you are from OC category). I cannot promise you that you will get a seat but there are chances. But there are high chances for you to get a seat in private and deemed colleges. This year's competition is quite high even the one who got 584 in OC category did not get a medical government seat. If you are desperate about a government medical college then take 2021's NEET. Even the one who got 720/720 was taking NEET for the second time. Do mention about your category for more help.

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get  seat or not as  cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

But when we go through previous data then

In Neet 2019, 518 marks for general category was the cut off marks to get a seat in Government Medical College  under west Bengal state quota and it was for COOCHBEHAR GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL

So, with 550 marks you do have chance to get a seat in Government Medical College
