I assume You are telling that You got 60% in 12th(SSC). So I much as I know CU Don't really care about whether you appeared For CUSAT or not. If you satisfy there eligiblity for the course that's enough. I would suggest to To Call Them as Get a proper Info. As they might arrange you CUSAT in your nearby center. The benefits of giving such entrance test are that You are also granted Scholarship based on Your performance. 

You Should Try For LPUNEST as it provides massive scholarship and it's also one of the best private University currently in India.
