Doctor of Philosophy is a 3-5 years doctorate program which prepares students for various Geoscience careers.

Geology comprises the study of Mineralogy, Paleontology, Structural Geology, and Geomorphology.

The basic eligibility criteria for pursuing the course is a Master's degree in the areas such as Geology/ Applied Geology/ Earth Science/ Marine Geology from any recognized university with 55% aggregate marks.

After result declaration, CUCET 2019 cut off is declared every year. CUCET central university. CUCET 2019 cutoff is based on the minimum qualifying marks in the entrance exam. 

The merit list is prepared on the basis of the scores obtained by the candidate in the entrance exam.
