Admissions are done either on the basis of marks in class 12th or an entrance exam is conducted. It depends upon the university/college what pattern they follow. If the college has no entrance exam then you may wait for the cut offs for admission. If an entrance based admission is taken into consideration, then you'll have to appear for those exams.
