989 marks in intermediate is extraordinary marks .In Telangana most of engineering colleges take students into admission by EAMCET rank basis . If you want to join without writing EAMCET examination you have to apply for preferred college own admission exam . In this suppose you want to join in CBIT college you should write the college own admission exam which will be conducted  by the college itself . If you pass on that exam you will be taken into that college or else you should write for another college.  Or you can go for management quota.
