Hello!

Do give NEET 2022, prepare for it as best as you can with short notes or as many resources as you can find. But yes, a drop year would be useful for you to prepare properly for NEET. However if you prefer to do BDS.

Based on previous year trends, it has been observed that to attain a BDS seat in a government dental college, a candidate is required to score a minimum of 450 marks in NEET (subject to vary). A minimum of 50th percentile under general category for those who seek admissions in private dental colleges is a requirement. But I'm sure with lesser, you can still get management seat or private colleges.

Something important is that you should do some research on BDS, see whether that interests you and also, how much do you want medical?

If you really want medical and are passionate about it, a drop year is worth it and you will do better.

If you are not as particular, then go ahead with BDS.

Hope this helps!
