Hello,

Doing MBA in Finance will not directly help you in Income Tax Department. But, it will help you to get a crux of it. Also, you will be able to learn concepts which will help you in income tax department. Doing the preparation for UPSC with MBA Finance is not a good option (if you are doing MBA from a full time college) as you will be getting a lot of assignments and work from the college. If you are going in a not so strict college for completing your MBA then you can. But, I would suggest you to focus on your preparation of UPSC if you are fully confident with the decision of pursuing it in the future.
