Yes, you can show EWS Certificate at the counselling. See, caste certificate and EWS certificate are different to each other. Caste certificate shows the proof of belonging to a specific caste, and is usually provided to SC, ST people so as to get better facilities from the government whereas EWS certificate shows the proof of your financial background if the family income per annum is less than eight lakhs, be you're from general category or any other category. So, if you're from EWS background, then you can show it to them in order to have fee reimbursement and also with the certificate, you can apply for scholarships also.
