Greetings, aspirant!

BSc Computer Science is a 3 year UG course. The course curriculum is focused on preparing students for a career in computer system Technologies, information technology management, data analysis etc.

The basic eligibility criteria to apply for the program is that a candidate must have passed their 10+2 from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate score of 45% to 60% (depending on the University) with Physics, chemistry and maths as mandatory subjects. Computer science is not a mandatory subject but having it in your 10+2 works in your advantage

You haven't specified the region in which you'd like to look for colleges. However, some of the best colleges include

  • Loyola College, Chennai
  • Fergusson College, Pune
  • St Xavier's, Mumbai
  • Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College, Delhi
  • VIT, Vellore
  • Delhi University

Usually cut offs for top tier colleges can easily cross the 92-94% range. But with hardwork, you can definitely get in some of the top tier colleges.

Hope this information helps

Best of luck!!
