I m from 12th commerce can i appear for gujcet for B.Tech computer engineering???

You can appear for gujcet. the eligibility criteria is as follows:

Nationality

Candidates should be of Indian nationality.

Academic Requirements

  • 10+2 (or equivalent) examination should have been completed by the candidates from the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar/ CBSE, Delhi/ CISCE, New Delhi/ NIOS/ International School Board.

  • If the candidates have not completed their 10+2 examination but will complete it in 2018, then these candidates will also be eligible for admission.

Qualifying Marks

  • General Category: The candidates will have to secure 45% marks in the 10+2 qualifying examination.

  • Reserved Category: In 10+2 (or equivalent) examination, the reserved category candidates will have to score 40% marks.

Domicile

  • The candidates should be bonafide residents of Gujarat.

  • If the candidates are living in some other state but are bonafide residents of Gujarat, then he/she will be eligible for admission.

  • The candidates will be eligible for admission if his/her parents are of Gujarat origin and are serving out of the state in the service of Central Government or other State Government, Armed Forces, Boards or Cooperations owned or controlled by the Central or State or any nationalised bank

But you are not eligible for B.Tech as it requires 60% aggregate in phy,chem,maths ..

So, only science students can pursue B.tech..

              Sorry you are not eligible. You have to from science background, also you should have physics, chemistry & maths in your pcm..

Hey Elina Surani,

For appearing in GUJCET you must hav passed your 12th with PCM as subjects, as you belong from commerce field you are not elegible for admission into Btech. course. You should look for another exams related to your stream like CA,CS exams

No, for btec PCM is necessary but why u want to do btec, I think both science and commerce are best in their respective field. Commerce is good choice I think
