To what I came to know, it is that when you fill the form and for the option of 12th marksheet option of 'result awaited' or a similar option comes. In that case, If you select this option then wait for the cut off to come

If your result comes by the time counselling starts you may see your best four subjects marks and according go with the required documents to the college that have cut off proportionate to your marks.
