I m interested in coding and software developing i.e., not the hardware part of engineering. then which branch should i choose CE/IT/ICT

If you're really interested in coding, then CSE eold be good and also in demand now. But if and only if you have high knowledge on coding and technical skills, you don't get into well reputed company and wount get high package.

As per your query and career goal I would recommend

Computer science engineering or
Software Engineering

Through that you would get knowledge skills and understanding for the software, coding and programming.
