Coaching is not important at all.You can get high marks in jee mains even without coaching if you are well dedicated to studies.You should focus on the basics and then solve as much as you can.Practice previous years questions regularly.

If you are sure about getting high score next year then you can take a drop this year.

The marks you score in Jee mains this time is good in the first attempt.You can do better with dropping this year.You may join or maynot join coaching institute .It depends you .If you study 11th and 12th thoroughly and properly,then you can do self study.If you want to join coaching ,this also good but again self study is very much important.In Coaching you can clear doubt  by discussion with teacher . Coaching also take regular test weekly , monthly.It all helps you to score good marks.

Hey Aspirant, whether coaching is important or not depends on the candidate itself as if the candidate is consistent and focused enough that any external pressure is not required then coaching will just waste his/her time.

But if a candidate easily loses concentration and get deviated from studies then coaching will help him/her in gaining more and more by keeping him/her indulge in various assignments and tests.

If you find yourself in the first category then also please keep in mind that you will need to test your preparation time to time. So, you must purchase a test series of renowned coaching institute as you will really gain from it.

Hi Manish! Coaching is not a necessity, but a standard way of helping hand. Without coaching also, there are a lot of candidates securing well ranks in JEE. The thing is you should be able to self analyze yourself, like what are your strengths and weaknesses.Moreover, you should brush up your basics very well as the questions asked in Jee Mains are of simple but intelligent level.You should be able to utilize the time in a particular exam effectively. If you are able to cope up with these tricks, then it will be very easy for you to score good marks in JEE.
