I m student of btech in college X after 1st yr can I change my college in Y for 2nd yr

Dear Priyanka,

Yes you can change your college in 2nd year as well as branch if u want.

This can be done by applying for NOC that is No Objection Certificate which can help you to get admission in other college.

But a valid reason is required

Ex: medical issues or parents transfer

This will not be a easy task you have to talk to both the college that is X&Y.

So that they can allot you a seat plus you have to apply to DTE.

You can definitely change but you need to reappear in entrance exam and score well to qualifying cutoff for new preferred college.

Secondly you need to start again from first year engineering.

Dont assume that you shall be promoted directly in second year.

All in all it creates year gap and can be risked only if you get very good college.
