greetings,

i would not advise you to drop an year.

take admission in  a college, simultaneously prepare for for next years entrance and give a try with a proper preparation.

however, do take admission in a college this year. doing this will keep you on the  safer side. other NLUs are not bad. i actually depends on individual calibre.

hope this helps.

good luck

agreed. HNLU is not that bad. Also, if you want to prepare next year then join the college and then prepare for clat. So many people join middle NLUs and then prepare next year and get a better NLU. Even by any chance you don't you'll have continuing in HNLU as a back up option.
