First of all you must mention the counseling name that in which counselling you got seat.
Now recently the seat allotment of round 3 of josaa counselling took place, so I am assuming that you got seat in josaa 3rd round counselling.

Now, as you got allotted a seat, then you must have to use any one among freeze, float and slide.
Now as you said you are not satisfied with your branch, then you must not freeze your seat.
So, you must slide or float your seat.

Now if you float or slide your seat, then that means your have accepted the seat and want to participate in furthur josaa rounds for a higher preference branch in other institute or same institute respectively. And if in coming round you get a higher upgraded seat then you will accept it. And if you do not get any seat in higher round then your previously alloted seat will remain with you.

Now, if you use any one of the option (freeze/float/slide) after seat allotment (for first time), then it's mandatory that you must upload the documents for verification, and pay the seat acceptance fees.
As you got allotted a seat in 3rd round, but you don't want this seat, but still you have to pay the seat acceptance fees and upload the documents because you must have chosen float or slide.

And if you do not upload the document within the given time or deadline, then your alloted seat will be cancelled and you will not be able to participate in futhur rounds. So, is better that you upload the documents before the deadline.
