Hi, It seems good that you have a goal in life. try t get a graduation degree in social studies, political science subjects as it can help you with IAS preparation though you can choose other streams as well. Some of the basics you can do from now on are:
1. Start newspaper reading.
2. Build up General knowledge
3. Read some non fiction books like about India, Gandhi etc.
4. Get good knowledge on Indian history.
5. read magazines like chronicles, CSR, Manorama.
