First of all, if you think that you want to be an IAS then I will suggest you to go for Bachelor In Arts.
You can take majors Political science or sociology.
This subjects help one to crack any government exams like UPSC, SSC CGL and State Public Comission Exams and RRB too.
This subjects are very informative and easy to understand.
I will say if you belong from Arts background then please go for it but if you are from other background like Science, I will suggest that think twice or thrice or hundred times before changing streams.

Dear Tanishk ,
Wonderful, that you have put up a question. I feel a joy in answering such questions when I find young students like you being serious about their career.
Since you are in Class 12, you have almost four years from now to prepare for the Civil Services Examination. My friend, you are on the correct path and believe me you can crack the UPSC CSE in first attempt only, if you prepare strategically.
A strategic preparation means you have not go through your NCERT books starting from Class 7th till 12th including Science (PCB), Geography, Civics (Political Science), Economics, Environmental Science including Biodiversity and Static General Knowlege.
The first startegy will be to understand the complete syllabus of UPSC Civil Services Exam and begin your preparations.
Once you are in Graduation, I would suggest you take the subject for which you develop an interest in time.
Good luck!
