Hello! According to CAT exam pattern, there are 3 sections, Verbal Ability, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning and quantitative ability (maths). Start with the basic conceptual preparation in each section. Go through sample questions or past years' papers to know the question types and topics. To get your language skills stronger, read newspapers and magazines every day. Strengthen your vocabulary by going through books like word power made easy by Norman Lewis. For the time being, this much preparation should be enough. Once you reach final year, you will need to buck up preparation.
