The rank of a candidate is determined by taking in to certain parameters into consideration such as total number of candidates appeared, top score in exam this year, tie breakers, normalization of marks etc. You can only know the actual rank after the merit list is published. The merit list is expected to be released in the fourth week of June 2021 tentatively. Till then we can predict the expected rank and the expected rank with 149 marks is estimated to be in 8000-12000. The actual rank may vary based on the above mentioned factors. By taking previous year cut off in to consideration you have chances of getting seat in the following courses

• Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal:  Electronics and Communication, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science
• Manipal, University:  Computer & Communication Electronics, Automobile Engineering, Electricals and Electronics, Data Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
• Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal:  Industrial Production,  Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Bio-Medical Engineering

The cut off this year is subjected to change every year based on the difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available and the total number of candidates appeared etc.
