Hi there, being a faculty of LPU, I can only tell you about the BCA programs of LPU. Let me begin by telling you the eligibility for the course. It is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent.

The BCA program intends to impart knowledge on the basics of computer application and software development. BCA subjects include database management systems, software engineering, operating systems, web technology and computer languages. The program is designed to build programming skills for developing efficient and resource-optimised software/website/cloud/mobile applications.

BCA graduates have a good scope in jobs as a Web Developer, Web Designer, Network Administrator, System Manager, Computer programmer, Software Developer, Software Tester, etc depending on the skills you acquire during your BCA. Various companies, organisations, and MNCs offer the above-mentioned jobs to BCA candidates.

The highest salary offered was 19.25 LPA and the average package was 3.1lpa.

  Congratulations for your score. You are eligible for both BCA as well As BCS as minimum marks criteria in 12th for BCA is 40% and for BCS it is 50% in most of the institutes.
    So decide between the two and go for the best for you.
