This is the first time that VIT had to cancel its entrance examination and conduct admissions based on Board exams and JEE Mains. And it has also been announced that weightage will be given to JEE Mains score. While the marking and weightage scheme has not been announced yet, this answer is being written with general information. Once VIT releases any official information regarding the weightage and marking scheme, we would be able to answer your question with more relevant information. Now admissions to VIT all campuses will be conducted without reservation and all seats are considered Open Merit. Now there are approximately close to 720 seats available for CSE branch in Vellore Campus. But again this is an answer being given without relevant available information. But if you have scored 88% in 12th and 94 percentile in JEE Mains, you do have a decent chance at securing a seat in CSE in VIT Vellore. If not in the Round 1, you should get a seat atleast in Round 2 for CSE Branch in Vellore Campus because you did put up a decent academic profile yourself. Good luck:)
