Hi!

"NO" you will not be qualified for Jee advance exam Because of General catagory.

But For Jee advance You must clear Jee mains Cut-off and in top 20 percentile of your respective board.

Total Student -9.65 lakh

Your 88 percentile

88 % of 9.65 lakh=8,49,200

9,65,000-8,49,200=1,15,800 appox your rank

Yes.,
You are still eligible to jee advanced, if and only if 88 percentile lies above the cutoff percentile officially declared.

I think it would be a benefit if you had applied to mains 2.

Prepare well for jee advanced, focus on the important chapters, don't waste time on questions in advanced by thinking to comeplete total paper, just go on doing and leave question in the beginning if you fell little difficult and try it at the last.
