Hi Madhu, were u able to attend NEET councelling through KEA in 2019 for Karnataka medical seats? I am also a OCI student, so want to know.

Hello Madhu,

All the states participating in the NEET 2019 will fill their 85% seats of though state counselling, while the remaining 15% of the seats will be filled through All India centralized counselling. The eligibility for the 85% quota seats of the states including Karnataka is:

(1)Candidates must have completed/appearing his/her 10th and 12th from the state.

(2)Candidate must possess a valid domicile in the state.

(3)Candidate should possess a residency proof of the state.

Hence, you are eligible for 85% quota

Hi Madhu,

Your eligible only for 15% AIQ if you are holding OCI.

85% is only for Local Students who are indian citizens and studied in Karnataka for 7 years with valid domicile.
